ICA can be used in brain activation studies to reduce the number of dimension and filter out independent and interesting activations. This demonstration shows two studies. One Provided by Hvidovre Universitets Hospital, Denmark, that consists of fMRI scannings of humans. Another Provided by the EU sponsored MAPAWAMO project from fMRI scannings of monkeys. In the demo comparison between icaMS, icaML, icaMF, icaMF (positive sources) and PCA can be made. More detailes can found in [2].

Unzip this file into a writeable directory. You should end up with a "Geocode" project, as well as Bitmaps and TestData directories. This sample geocodes single-match zip codes, entered by the user, or a batch-match of a table of zips (and other info) against a point shapefile. The point data shapefile consists of 41859 point features from 1996 GDT data, in decimal degrees. The table of zips that can be used in the batch match consists of 38 records, entitled "few_zips.dbf". More specifcs are found at the top of each form and are Provided throughout the code.

A series of .c and .m files which allow one to perform univariate and bivariate wavelet analysis of discrete time series. Noother wavelet package is necessary -- everything is contained in this archive. The C-code computes the DWT and maximal overlap DWT. MATLAB routines are then used to compute such quantities as the wavelet variance, covariance, correlation, cross-covariance and cross-correlation. Approximate confidence intervals are available for all quantities except the cross-covariance and cross-correlation. A set of commands is Provided.
