The BNL toolbox is a set of Matlab functions for defining and estimating the parameters of a Bayesian network for discrete variables in which the conditional probability tables are specified by logistic regression models. Logistic regression can be used to incorporate restrictions on the conditional probabilities and to account for the effect of covariates. Nominal variables are modeled with multinomial logistic regression, whereas the category probabilities of ordered variables are modeled through a cumulative or adjacent-categories response function. Variables can be observed, partially observed, or hidden.

This document is intended to serve as an introduction to Wavelet processing through a set of Matlab experiments. These experiments will gives an overview of three fundamental tasks in signal and image processing : signal, denoising and compression. These scripts are selfs contents (needed additional Matlab functions can be downloaded while reading the lectures). Each one of these five lectures should take between 1h and 2h in order to tests the various features of the scripts. One should copy/paste the provided code into a file names e.g. tp1.m, and launch the script directly from Matlab comand line > tp1 . Some of the scripts contains "holes" that you should try to fill on your own. I also provide the complete correction of these lectures as a set of Matlab scripts, but you should try as much as possible to avoid using them.

Introduction Some times it is required that we build a shared library (DLL) from an m-file. M-files are functions that are written in Matlab editor and can be used from Matlab command prompt. In m-files, we employ Matlab built-in functions or toolbox functions to compute something. In my past articles, I showed you some ways to use Matlab engine (vis. API, C++ class or Matlab engine API) for employing Matlab built-in functions, but what about functions that we develop? How can we use them in VC? Is there any interface? This article shows you an idea to employ your own Matlab functions.

MATFOR FFT Visual Fortran program. MATFOR Extensions, as implied in the name, are data or components external to MATFOR modules that can be used to add versatility to MATFOR programs. Currently there are two types of extensions available with MATFOR, they are MATLAB Interface and Tecplot FileIO. MATLAB Interface, a new feature in MATFOR 4.1, provides MATFOR users access to MATLAB functions so they can obtain functionality that has not been built into MATFOR. The ability of using MATLAB functions makes MATFOR an ideal tool for those who create prototypes using MATLAB, then do implementation in C++ and other programming languages. Through the use of MATFOR, users may perform quick results comparisons between MATLAB and other languages.

来自澳大利亚Qeensland大学的计算机视觉Matlab工具箱。 This Toolbox provides a number of functions that are useful in computer vision, machine vision and related areas. It is a somewhat eclectic collection reflecting the author s personal interest in areas of photometry, photogrammetry, colorimetry. It covers functions such as image file reading and writing, filtering, segmentation, feature extraction, camera calibration, camera exterior orientation, display, color space conversion and blackbody radiators. The Toolbox, combined with MATLAB and a modern workstation computer, is a useful and convenient environment for investigation of machine vision algorithms. It is possible to use MEX files to interface with image acquisition hardware ranging from simple framegrabbers to Datacube servers.
