Instead, applications are redesigned to use a web browser as a "terminal". Operators rely on the content provider to create & distribute data content to different types of devices. This is different from the open world in the internet communication. Operators must control who can access what content based on his rate plans. Also, based the content access results, the process will be recorded as the transaction records based on which billing statements can be generated to collected the money and shared by operators and content providers. I am working on the conceptual architecture level and the real implementation is very complicated due to too many types of service from different content providers to different types of devices based on the different types of the rate plans.

The Funambol J2ME Mail Client aims to be a light, easy to use, free email client for J2ME devices. The first release comes with a simple but effective UI, and a storage limited to the internal RMS only. This makes the application compatible with most of the phones around (minimum requirements are: MIDP2.0, CLDC 1.0, 512k of Storage). The mail synchronization using SyncML 1.2 over HTTP, thus removing any problem related to the access to IMAP or POP ports. The mail client synchonizes its address book with the one on the server, Its design is modular and can be extended in future with other mail protocols, a more sophisticated UI and access to the phone s AddressBook or filesystem for the devices allowing this. To fully utilize the available spectrum for a wireless communication system it is feasible to adapt to different situations on the channel. In this paper a flexible OFDM transmitter is presented together with basic theory behind OFDM transmission. It is shown that high flexibility can be obtained with a reasonable amount Flexible baseband transmitter for OFDM of additional hardware. Part of the design, the FFT-processor, has already been fabricated and measurement results are presented.
