When working with mathematical simulations or engineering problems, it is not unusual to handle curves that contaIns thousands of points. Usually, displaying all the points is not useful, a number of them will be rendered on the same pixel since the screen precision is finite. Hence, you use a lot of resource for nothing! This article presents a fast 2D-line approximation algorithm based on the Douglas-Peucker algorithm (see [1]), well-known in the cartography community. Probabilistic Principal Components Analysis. [VAR, U, LAMBDA] = PPCA(X, PPCA_DIM) computes the principal ％ component subspace U of dimension PPCA_DIM using a centred covariance matrix X. The variable VAR contaIns the off-subspace variance (which is assumed to be spherical), while the vector LAMBDA contaIns the variances of each of the principal components. This is computed using the eigenvalue and eigenvector decomposition of X.

This package provides a complete http client library. It currently implements most of the relevant parts of the HTTP/1.0 and HTTP/1.1 protocols, including the request methods HEAD, GET, POST and PUT, and automatic handling of authorization, redirection requests, and cookies.
