This document describes how to switch to and program the unisersal serial bus (USB) analog phase-locked loop (APLL) on the C5506/C5507/C5509A devices. Example assembly programs for programming and switching to and from the APLL are also provided in the attached zip file. This example program is the source code for the FT232BM Test Application from our Utilities page. It can be used to test the handshaking lines on FT232BM based RS232/RS485/RS422 designs. This program can also be used for programming the external EEPROM over USB in a manufacturing environment. The test features require the test cable shown on ST_232_245.pdf to be connected. A simple example of audio signal processing on TMS320VC5416 USB DSK board. Main source is contained in tone.c file, memory configuration - tonecfg.cmd. Folder docs/ contains useful docmentation on board, its components and libraries. The example's configuration is based on example "tone" from Code Composer Studio's 3.1 example for 5416 DSK.
