MATSNL is a package of MATLAB M-files for computing wireless sensor node lifetime/power budget and solving optimal node architecture choice problems. It is intended as an analysis and simulation tool for researchers and educators that are easy to use and modify. MATSNL is designed to give the rough power/ lifetime predictions based on node and application specifications while giving useful insight on platform design for the Large node lifetime by providing side-by-side comparison across various platforms. The MATSNL code and manual can be found at the bottom of this page. Introduction ? ? The ARM Cortex -A8 microprocessor is the first applications microprocessor in ARM!ˉs new Cortex family. With high performance and power efficiency, it targets a wide variety of mobile and consumer applications including mobile phones, set-top boxes, gaming consoles and automotive navigation/entertainment systems. The Cortex-A8 processor spans a range of performance points depending on the implementation, delivering over to 2000 Dhrystone MIPS (DMIPS) of performance for demanding consumer applications and consuming less than 300mW for low-power mobile devices. This translates into a Large increase in processing capability while staying with the power levels of previous generations of mobile devices. Abstract-In this paper, simple autonomous chaotic circuits coupled by resistors are investigated. By carrying out computer calculations and circuit experiments, irregular self-switching phenomenon of three spatial patterns characterized by the phase states of quasi-synchronization of chaos can be observed from only four simple chaotic circuits. This is the same phenomenon as chaotic wandering of spatial patterns observed very often from systems with a Large number of degrees of freedom. Namely, one of spatial-temporal chaos observed from systems of Large size can be also generated in the proposed system consisting of only four chaotic circuits. A six subcircuits case and a coupled chaotic circuits networks are also studied, and such systems are confirmed to produce more complicated spatio-temporal phenomena.
