PCA9673是PCF8575的升级产品，提供快速模式FM+的I2C-bus速度（1MHz），因此，输出能支持PWM LED调光功能。具有高I2C总线驱动能力（30mA），所以不需要总线缓冲器就能挂接很多器件。且灌电流能力高（200mA），能同21时驱动多个25mA的LED，允许多个器件（16个）挂接在总线上而不会产生地址冲突。
