The TJA1040 is an advanced high speed CAN transceiver for use in automotive and general industrial applications. It supports the differential bus signal representation described in the international standard for in-vehicle high speed CAN applications (ISO11898). CAN (Controller Area Network) is the standard protocol for serial in-vehicle bus communication, particularly for Engine Management and Body Multiplexing. The TJA1040 provides a Standby mode, as known from its functional predecessors PCA82C250 and PCA82C251, but with significantly reduced power consumption. We show in the context of a new economic geography model that when labor is heterogenous trade liberalization may lead to industrial agglomeration and inter-regional trade. Labor heterogeneity gives local monopoly power to firms but also introduces variations in the quality of the job match. Matches are likely to be better when there are more firms and workers in the local market, giving rise to an agglomeration force which can offset the forces against, trade costs and the erosion of monopoly power. The outstanding bandwidth of 800 MHz along with 1200 V/µs of slew rate make the AD8001 useful in many general purpose high-speed applications where dual power supplies of up to ±6 V and single supplies from 6 V to 12 V are needed. The AD8001 is available in the industrial temperature range of –40°C to +85°C.
