We propose a simple and effective method for detecting view- and scale-independent ridge-valley lines defined via first- and secondorder curvature Derivatives on shapes approximated by dense triangle meshes.

The subroutines glkern.f and lokern.f use an efficient and fast algorithm for automatically adaptive nonparametric regression estimation with a kernel method. Roughly speaking, the method performs a local averaging of the observations when estimating the regression function. Analogously, one can estimate Derivatives of small order of the regression function.

This application report describes the use of Timer_A3 to decode RC5 and SIRC TV IR remote control signals. The decoder described in this report is interrupt-driven and operates a background function using specific features the Timer_A3. Only a small portion of the MSP430 CPU?s nonreal-time resources is used. Specific hardware bit-latching capabilities of the Timer_A3 module are used for real-time decoding of the IR data signal, independent and asynchronous to the CPU. CPU activity and power consumption are kept to an absolute minimum level. The Timer_A3 decoder implementation also allows other tasks to occur simultaneously if required. The solutions provided are written specifically for MSP430x11x(1) and MSP430x12x Derivatives, but can be adapted to any other MSP430 incorporating Timer_A3. 電視遙控器設計基於MSP430

This the first release of a free TCP/IP/PPP protocol stack for the uC/OS Real-Time Operating System. As a first release it s still rather rough and very much larger than desired however it is working well in an embedded product and therefore may be useful to others. Much of the code is ported from public sources including BDS Lite and KA9Q (and its Derivatives) and carries copyright notices from those sources. Essentially TCP is based on KA9Q but with ideas from BSD, IP is a simple implementation supporting BSD structures, ICMP is ported from BSD, and PPP is ported from the BSD version of the distribution common to BSD, Linux, and many other systems

We introduce a sub-cell WENO reconstruction method to evaluate spatial Derivatives in the high-order ADER scheme. The basic idea in our reconstruction is to use only r stencils to reconstruct the point-wise values of solutions and spatial Derivatives for the 2r-1 th order ADER scheme in one dimension, while in two dimensions, the dimension-by-dimension sub-cell reconstruction approach for spatial Derivatives is employed. Compared with the original ADER scheme of Toro and Titarev (2002) [2] that uses the direct Derivatives of reconstructed polynomials for solutions to evaluate spatial Derivatives, our method not only reduces greatly the computational costs of the ADER scheme on a given mesh, but also avoids possible numerical oscillations near discontinuities, as demonstrated by a number of one- and two-dimensional numerical tests. All these tests show that the 5th-order ADER scheme based on our sub-cell reconstruction method achieves the desired accuracy, and is essentially non-oscillatory and computationally cheaper for problems with discontinuities.
